Silence

Underneath
percolating rain drops in sand

beneath
dew drops rolling down the leaf blades

among
playful waves of roaring oceans

there’s
 deep silence

only heard
by a
heart
calm within

Night’s Palette

Night’s stark,
dark colour palette,
enamours the landscapes.
White jasmines,
glowing fireflies – stars of the black sky.

Drop by drop,
trickle,
the songs of owls and wolves,
breaking the silence,
of the moon.

This darkness,
has its own beauty,
its satin smoothness,
fills the voids,
of loneliness.

Thousand Deaths

As she
saw his hand
slipping away
from her hand
                          she died
                          thousand deaths
                          in that
                          one instance
His face
faded away
like butterfly’s wings
                                      she knew
                                      from
                                      that moment
                                      days were over
                                      of spring
Life went on
at its own pace
leaving
scars of pain
in the voices
of space
                 and
                           she died
                           thousand deaths
                           at
                           every instance
